1. About Greenectus

1.1 What is Greenectus?

Greenectus is a market development engine for the renewable energy industry. A community of homeowners, Industry professionals and organizations.

1.2 Where do the articles on the News page come from?

The articles on the news page are sourced from the Internet, aggregated then categorized.

1.3 Why are all the organizations located in California? Do you serve my state?

Although the site can be used by anyone who isn’t in california we are currently only focused on california.

1.4 I’m a homeowner and want to go renewable – where should I start?

We suggest using the renewable estimator which is located on multiple pages throughout the site. Through that process you will get a sense of what a system might cost, watch educational videos, see who others may have used that live next to you and request a quote. Solar Estimator

1.5 I need help with financing renewable. Can Greenectus help with that?

Banks, loan agencies, and other financial institutions can create an Organization account on Greenectus and advertise their services. Greenectus does not provide financial or tax advice and only acts as a third party intermediary between you and any financial institution. Any relationship between you and any such financial institution is subject to its own contract or understanding to which Greenectus is not a party or beneficiary.

2.1 What are the benefits of having an account?

Whether you are a homeowner, industry professional or organization you will be part of the renewable energy community that will help you in many ways. We suggest starting with the Tour.

2.2 How do I register an account?

Please visit Greenectus and click on sign up.

2.3 What kind of accounts are there and what should I register as?

We suggest starting with the Tour.

2.4 How do I change my password?

Log into your account and click on account settings.

2.5 Why are there two profiles on my organization account?

One is your personal account that belongs to your person and the other belongs to the organization. This way you can operate as two separate entities without having to create two different profiles with two different logins.

2.6 How do I claim an organization profile?

Go to the directory and search for your organization name, go to the profile of that organization and click claim organization.

3. Pricing, Plans, Payments

3.1 Are Greenectus accounts free?

3.2 What kinds of payment do you accept?

Most major credit cards are accepted.

3.3 Can I pay for services to an organization through Greenectus?

No, all payments for services are done through the organization you choose to do business with.

4. Ratings and Reviews

4.1 Do I need an account to review an organization?

Yes.If you would like to review an organization, please create an account through the sign up process here.

4.2 Do I need an account to respond to a review of my organization?

Yes. Organizations must create and purchase a Greenected account to respond to reviews. To learn more about the benefits of having a Greenected account, please click here.

4.3 Someone left a bad review of my organization – how do I remove it?

There is no way to remove a review that was already approved. However if you are able to communicate with the reviewer and fix the issue you are able to update the review. The reviewer at their discretion does have the ability to delete their review.

4.4 Is anyone checking the reviews, questions, and comments before they’re posted?

All public reviews are screened by our administrators before going live, however, we do not edit or alter reviews. If we believe there is a problem with a review, our administrators may, in their discretion, take certain actions.

4.5 Can reviews be anonymous?

Yes, upon giving a review you can choose to hide your identity.

4.6 I don’t have an account. Where did you get my business information?

Greenectus basic profiles are sourced from publicly available information.

4.7 Why wasn’t my review posted immediately?

Reviews are screened by one of our administrators before going live. We want to avoid slanderous, inappropriate language whenever possible. Also, you could have checked the last chance button which gives the organization time to try to correct an issue and avoid a potentially bad review.

5. Security, Estimates, and Calculators

5.1 Do you sell or share my personal information?

We sometimes share your information with certain service providers, businesses, and partners to provide the best available site or at your request. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

5.2 Will Greenectus send me a bunch of emails if I register an account?

You can control emails, notification and SMS messages in your Notification Center to ensure you only receive what is useful.

5.3 How do the estimates and calculators work? How accurate are they?

We research and take averages of the prices that people pay to calculate costs. The calculators should give you a very good idea of potential costs and options.

5.4 Are estimates guaranteed pricing?

No, our estimates are used for educational purposes only. Only the organization that you do business with can give you precise pricing.

6. Jobs Page

6.1 How do I post a job on Greenectus?

You need to have an organizational account. Make sure you are viewing your business account and not your personal account. Using the menu, click jobs > post a job.

6.2 Does Greenectus work as a recruiter for businesses?

No, we give organizations opportunity to post their jobs and jobseekers opportunity to find them.

6.3 Do I need an account to create a job posting?

Yes, an organizational account is necessary.

6.4 Do I need an account to respond to a job posting?

Yes. If you would like to respond to a job posting, please create an account through the sign up process here.

7. Ads and Events

7.1 Does Greenectus quality check the ads and event postings?

Yes, before any information is displayed to the public one of our administrators checks it.

7.2 How do I report a misleading or false Ad or event?

If you believe there is a problem with an advertisement or event please contact us at admin@greenectus.com.

8. Quotes, Referrals, Leads, and Sales

8.1 How do I request a quote from an organization?

Log into your account, use the menu and click on the directory. You can find a list of providers there. Click on their profile page then click request a quote.

8.2 I have an organization account and a homeowner has contacted me for a quote or referral, but all their information is gray – is this an error?

No, this means that your plan has run out of the ability to receive requests for quotes or referrals. You will need to upgrade your plan or click additional capabilities and buy more requests or referrals. Once you do, the requests and referrals you have received will no longer be gray.
